Princess Latufuipeka appointed Tonga's High Commissioner to Australia

His Majesty's Cabinet has approved the appointment of Her Royal Highness Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Halaevalu  Mata‘aho  Napua  O-Ka-Lani  Tuku'aho on August 1 to be Tonga's new High Commissioner to Australia.

Her Royal Highness is the eldest daughter of Their Majesties King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u Tuku'aho. Princess Latufuipeka holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Geneva Switzerland and two Masters Degrees in Management and Business from the Australian National University.

Her Royal Highness will be the second Tongan High Commissioner in Canberra succeeding His Majesty King Tupou VI who was High Commissioner to Australia since 2008.

Princess Latufuipeka will present her credentials to Australia's Governor General, HE Quentin Bryce on August 22.
