07th July, 2017 English l Tongan A warning to all computer users from Tonga’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) about a type of cyber threat known as Phishing.

Phishing is the attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and, indirectly, money), often for malicious reasons, by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

To avoid this type of cyber threat, Tonga’s CERT advises the computer users to; always think twice before clicking, consider the source of the email and make sure the internet address belong to the service provider you’re using.
