E-mail Print PDF
Police are preparing to enforce the new speed limit on Tonga's roads. There will be three new speed limits.

They are: 30km per hour for roads around schools and areas that pedestrians use.

50km per hour on main roads and 70km per hour on quieter roads.

Police say they are giving time for motorists to get used to the changes and will soon be putting up new road signs.

December 2011.
