PUBLIC NOTICE: Meeting with Chinese Business Community

4 August 2011 The Minister for Labour, Commerce and Industries, Hon. Lisiate ‘Aloveita ‘Akolo wishes to call upon all Chinese Entrepreneurs from all sectors in the Chinese business community in Tongatapu to meet on Friday, 05th of August 2011 at 2:00pm held at the Ministry's Conference Room.

The meeting will be a follow up consultation from the last meeting that was held on February 17th 2011 to ensure the relevance of business regulatory reforms and to emphasizes to all Chinese entrepreneurs the importance of existing regulations to the business community to certify the protection of health and safety of the public.

Hon. ‘Akolo will lead the discussion and wishes to speak directly to all representatives from each Chinese business community with regards to illegal and unfair business practices currently in operation in Tonga and the delay in giving out of the business license due to ongoing business license review and other scrutiny exercises.
