The platform on which her hull had been sitting was lowered onto the sea by winches, and she became free floating on the sea completing the launching. Japan's traditional Shinto priest conducted the launching and prayed safety during construction, safety in the sea and service in Tonga. Her construction work still continues for piping, cabling, machinery installation, accommodation, painting, and sea trial runs are scheduled on 24-26 August, 2010. After further final adjustment, she will be completed and left Japan on 27th September, 2010. Sailing 7,900 km from Tokyo Bay, the new ferry raising the flag of Tonga will arrive Nuku'alofa on about 20th October, 2010.
