TONGA CHRONICLES AND THE MIC ARCHIVES

The once stated-owned weekly newpaper, The Chronicles (Kalonikali Tonga) was established in 1964. Over the years, it has accumulated a most extensive photographic library of materials and news which has become valuable archives of almost 50 years of Tongan history.

These archives are now under the protection of the Ministry of Information & Communications.
