Flower offering Ceremony in memory of the Late Mr. Hiroshi Umeda, JICA Senior Volunteer

TODAY, JICA Tonga Office would like hold a Flower Offering Ceremony in memory of the Late Mr. Hiroshi Umeda, Senior Volunteer dispatched as a Marine Electric Engineer to Shipping Corporation of Polynesia and all those who lost their lives in the tragic sinking of the MV Princess Ashika on 5th August 2009.

On this occasion we would like to pray for Mr. Umeda and all those who lost their lives in this tragedy and offer flowers. Those who would like to share memory and pray for them are welcomed to join us. JICA sincerely wish not to repeat this kind of tragedy in the future and in this opportunity would like to acknowledge the importance of life and safety.
